Despicable Me 3

Gru discovers he has a twin brother,  who wants to learn the family business  of villainy from him but Gru isn’t that guy anymore or is he? This film had laughs for both adult and children and plenty in-between. Slapstick galore prevails and the 80’s inspired jokes all land. The minions are side-lined to a side story but they aren’t missed as much as you might think because there is so much going on with other characters. Perhaps they’re saving possible minion storylines for an upcoming minion sequel? The film is fractured into different stories and misses an opportunity to expand on Dru and Gru’ relationship with each other and their parents. This doesn’t stop the film from being visually impressive and has brilliant voice acting from the entire cast. It’s a fun entertaining yarn.
